Since 2002, we’ve helped businesses leverage technology through custom WordPress and web application development. Our clients range from startups and non-profits to large enterprises across the U.S. and Canada.
We’re looking for a WordPress-savvy Project Manager / Account Manager who thrives in an agency setting, managing multiple WordPress projects while keeping clients engaged and happy. If you love leading projects, collaborating with designers and developers, staying highly organized, and talking to people, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do ✅
- Manage multiple WordPress projects: Juggle 10-15 projects at various stages, from simple builds to complex custom integrations.
- Act as the primary client contact: Lead all communication, including discovery, requirements gathering, kick-off, and status meetings.
- Collaborate with designers & developers: Translate client needs into actionable tasks and ensure smooth execution.
- Keep projects on track: Manage budgets, profitability, scope, and timelines while ensuring consistent progress.
- Ensure accountability: Oversee internal and external resources, conduct regular check-ins, and keep all parties aligned.
- Troubleshoot high-level WordPress issues: No coding required, but you should understand themes, plugins, WooCommerce, and basic troubleshooting.
- Identify new opportunities: Develop strong client relationships and proactively suggest improvements, strategy, and upsell opportunities.
- Use project management tools: We use Jira and Trello (experience with Trello, Asana, or ClickUp is fine).
- Support billing & budgeting: Track project budgets and assist in preparing tasks for the billing team.
Bonus Points If You Have ✅
- Experience with WooCommerce, Oxygen Builder, ACF, Gravity Forms
- Prior upselling or business development experience
- Understanding of website performance, hosting, and security best practices
- Experience leading teams of designers and developers
- A general understanding of digital marketing strategies (SEO, content marketing, email, etc.)
- Agency experience & ability to adapt across industries
